Q. Can I book a campsite over the phone?
A. No. Bookings can be made online or you can download the application form and mail or fax to:

Q. I have sent off my booking form but have not received a confirmation.
A. Applications and payments can take between 4 and 7 weeks to process.

Q. How big are the campsites?
A. Campsites vary in size from between 6m x 8m to 10m x 8m depending on which campground your site is in.
Motor Home Park sites are approximately 10m x 13m in size, although sizes can vary.

Q. Is there power available in the campgrounds?
A. No.  There are no power provisions in any of the campgrounds. Generators are welcome.

Q. Is there a map that indicates what sites are still available?
A. No. The maps provided are designed to give you an idea of the campground layout to assist you in making a decision on the general area in which you would like to camp. Preferences will be considered, however cannot always be accommodated.

Q. Is there power available in the Motor Home Park?
A. Yes. There are a limited amount of powered sites.  Power will incur an additional cost.

Q. What facilities are in the campgrounds?
A. All campgrounds have access to toilet and shower facilities. There are no cooking facilities provided.

Q. What facilities are in the Motor Home Park?
A. The Motor Home Park will have toilet facilities only. There are no cooking facilities provided.

Q. How much and where is the Motor Home Park located?
A. The Motor Home Park is located on Conrod Straight, south of The Chase.

Q. Are these prices per night?
A. No, prices indicated are for the duration of time that each campground & the Motor Home Park is open.

Q. What happens if my site preference is not available?
A. You will be allocated the nearest available site(s).

Q. How can I pay for my site?
A. You can pay by VISA, Amex, Bankcard, M/Card, and Diners credit cards. If returning your application by post you can also pay by money order or cheque – payable to AVESCO Events Unit Trust.
Note: if paying by cheque, allow time for bank clearance; credit cards subject to service surcharge.

Q. Does the cost of camping include my entry into the event?
A. No, each person camping must purchase a ticket to enter the event. Purchase your tickets online at Ticketek, call 132 849 or visit your nearest Ticketek outlet. Pre-purchase your tickets now and save! A 10% discount also applies to group bookings of 20 or more. If camping in the Paddock, you must purchase an additional Paddock Pass.

Q. Can I bring my own food?
A. Yes, as long as there are no glass bottles or containers.

Q. Can I arrive at the Event and purchase a site?
A. Sites are subject to availability. It is highly recommended that you pre-book your site as campgrounds sold out weeks prior to the Event in September 2007.

Q. When do applications close?
A. When all sites are sold, or COB Friday 12th September, 2008.

Q. I can no longer attend, can I get a refund on my site?
A. If you are no longer able to attend the Event and wish to cancel your booking you may request a refund.

In order to receive a refund you must contact V8 Supercar Events prior to August 29th 2008. Request for refunds after this date will not be accepted. You can contact V8 Supercar Events at:

- Bookings made from August 29 will not be eligible for a refund.

Q. Can I park my vehicle on my site?
A. Yes, however vehicles must be parked wholly within your site boundaries or they will be towed at your expense.
Note: Reid & Sulman campground has a one car per site policy.
