For the 2008 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 V8 Supercar Events will require a number of Officials and Volunteers for various positions. BENEFITS OFFICIALS In order to be an Official you need to have a valid CAMS Officials License and preferably be available for the four days of the Event. Positions available for Officials include: You will need to print and fill out the Official Application form below and return it by Friday 22nd July 2008.

VOLUNTEERS There are various Volunteer positions available including: Gatekeepers: Gatekeepers are required to check vehicles and patrons for valid accreditation as they enter the gates, and provide pass-outs to those exiting the precinct. Volunteer Check-in: Check-in volunteers are responsible for ensuring all volunteers complete the sign-on form each day, and providing each volunteer with their daily lunch and drink allowance. This activity is completed each morning in the sign on area. Accreditation Centre: Volunteers in this department are located at the accreditation centre outside of the track and assist the V8 Supercar Events Accreditation Supervisor with distribution of tickets and marshal packs. Corporate Facility Ushers: Corporate Facility Ushers are responsible for checking patron’s accreditation and directional assistance. Media Centre: Media Centre Volunteers assist the Media Centre Manager with administrative and operational tasks. Grandstand Ushers: Grandstand Ushers are responsible for checking patron’s accreditation and providing directional assistance. You will need to print and fill out the Volunteer Application form below and return it by Friday 22nd July 2008.

CAMPSITES All Officials and Volunteers are given the opportunity to camp in the Paddock Campground at no charge. Officials and Volunteer campsites are limited in number so please make every effort to maximise the number of people within a campsite. There is a minimum of two (2) Officials/Volunteers per site. If you would like to take up this opportunity to camp you will need to complete the below Campsite Application form and return it with your Official/Volunteer application form.
